A Note From Merla

Hi, I'm Merla — the person behind Royal Posh, not just the name on the About page.

Before this was a brand, it was just me, standing in my bathroom, staring at another set of extensions that had shed half its strands and matted at the ends after a handful of wears. I'd tried the expensive ones. I'd tried the well-known ones. I'd tried the ones that promised "salon quality" for half the price. Every time, I told myself it was the last time I'd get burned like that — and every time, I was wrong.

At some point I stopped asking "which brand is best" and started asking a different question: why does any of this get to be a gamble in the first place? Hair is personal. You're not just buying a product, you're trusting something to sit on your head, move with you, and hold up to your actual life — not just a photoshoot. That should never be a coin flip.

So I built the thing I couldn't find. Royal Posh runs on one rule I don't bend on: I check the hair myself before it ever gets listed. Not "sourced and shipped and hope for the best" — actually tested, the way I'd want it tested if it were going on my own head. That's the whole standard. It's not fancier than that, and it doesn't need to be.

Every piece we carry — the Supreme Clip-Ins, the Tape-Ins, the Wrap-It Ponytails, all of it — is 100% Remy human hair, chosen because it moves and wears like it's actually yours, not like a costume you're borrowing for the night. You should be able to wash it, style it, wear it again, and have it still look like the day you got it. If it doesn't, that's on us to fix, not on you to just live with.

I started this because I got tired of being disappointed. My hope is that you never have to feel that — that when you order from Royal Posh, you can just enjoy your hair instead of worrying about it.
